My name is Ilze, and I’m a 19-year-old high school graduate from South Africa. I’m thrilled at the idea of becoming an au pair and joining a loving family like yours!

Caring for children comes naturally to me - I’m nurturing, reliable, and full of energy. Over the past year, I’ve gained 100–200 hours of hands-on experience working with children through daycare support, playroom activities, and casual babysitting. I love engaging kids through singing, painting, reading, dancing, and imaginative play, and I always aim to create a safe, joyful space where children can feel seen and supported.

I’m fluent in English and Afrikaans, a confident swimmer, cyclist, and non-smoker. I’ve also completed first-aid training and am comfortable around pets, special needs children, and busy family routines.

What excites me most about being an au pair is the opportunity to learn from your family and culture while sharing a bit of my own - from music and traditions to food and stories. I’d be honored to support your household and help your children thrive, all while growing together during this incredible journey.
