Hi! My name is Seray and I am 20 years old. I am from Virginia Beach and I’m currently in college studying Health and Physical Education at Old Dominion University. I grew up very active and involved in the community. I played multiple sports growing up like Softball, tennis, and track. I love being outside, exploring new places, and trying new foods. I would like to become a Nanny/Au Pair because I have a huge passion for helping others as well as children. I love being around kids, building a connection with a family and being able to watch the children grow. A candidate should host me because I am organized, respectful, out-going, adaptive, and I would like to take nannying to another level. I qualify for this position because I am the oldest of 3 and I am the oldest cousin in my family. My sisters and cousins are all quite younger than me so I’ve always been surrounded by kids. Once I was about 12 my mom’s friends and neighbors started to ask me to babysit once they saw how nurturing I was around my family. Since then I’ve gained experience with newborns through teenagers. I really look forward to finding the perfect fit for me.

I have experience with just about everything. I was a mothers helper for a postpartum mom when she had her baby, I nannied over the summer for two young boys, I’ve done random babysitting jobs with anywhere from 1-4 kids, and I’ve also done overnights stays while parents went out of town for multiple days on end. With most kids, there are different activities they enjoy and like to do with Nannie’s. I try to stay very active and involved with the children that I nanny so they can expand their psychomotor, cognitive, and affective domains of development. For example, playing at the park, doing scavenger hunts, writing cards for their parents, going to the pool, going to the beach, going to the zoo, riding bikes, playing chalk, and so much more. I’ve also done care where I had to get the children ready for school and drive them to different after school activities.
