Hello! My name is Elena. Why Live-in nanny or tutor? For me it is a wonderful opportunity to see the world, share my knowledge with others and learn something from people of other cultures.
In 2001-2002 I was an Au-Pair for 3 girls :3,6 and 9 years old in Germany.I played with them at home and outside, helped with the hometask from time to time, read books to them, accompanied to afterschool and kindergarten extracurricular lessons.
While I was studying at the University I began tutoring English to the boy of 14 and to the girl of 8 years old. From that time on I plan and conduct lessons to children and adults. I create friendly atmosphere on my lessons, trying to involve my students in the process of learning. Most of the content of my lessons are games, songs and chants, watching cartoons.
During my University years I babysat from time to time. My duties as a babysitter at that time were to warm up food and feed the child(it was a girl of 4) and to play with her at home and on the playground.
After graduating from the University with honours and winning the contest in pedagogy among other students of our faculty, I worked as a teacher of English and German in primary local school for 1.5 years.
Though I do not have my own children, I have been helping my brother to raise his 2 twins since they were born. Now they are a boy and a girl of 10. I prepare simple meals for them or warm cooked food up, take them for a walk or play at home or on the playground, organize outings and accompany them to the cinema, to a cafe, to exhibitions, to the zoo and other interesting places(see the photos).I would like to teach English or German to your children, too. We will have a lot of fun!I can also help in organizing children meals and parties for them.
