Hiring an Aupair is and remains a miracle. Our track record over the last 3.5 years: 3 times top 1 time satisfied 2 times total failure Expensive agencies can't guarantee top candidates either, as I've already learned from my surroundings. Complete failures there too. On aupair.com, the choice is enormous, if you have the time and leisure ❱❱ you will also find suitable candidates. Overall, I can only advise everyone to check and follow up on any commitments from candidates (A1, embassy appointment, passport). Many candidates (perhaps understandably) simply try to get out of their country. You can already filter a lot using the specific search function here. Aupair candidates should, however, be informed in much more detail about the conditions of the host country (e.g. selection of desired countries) and also about the handling and effects of the site's functions.

We have not started yet, but I have a good feeling about it. I have used the platform before to hire other Au Pairs. Out of 6 Au Pairs, the only one we haven't had a relationship with was the first one, but we talk actively with the rest and many of them still live in Madrid and come to see the children frequently.
