Lisa (22), italiano/a, Estudiante actualmente en Italia quiere ser Au Pair en Irlanda, Reino Unido & Escocia

Hello all!
My name is Lisa and i’m 22 years old. I’ve lived in Italy my whole life, in Bolzano ‘till i finished high school in 2021, and now in Bologna, where i’m currently studying cinema (we unfortunately don’t do anything practical but it’s all about the history and theories of cinema) at the university. I’m done with my classes, and i’m currently just working on giving my exams and graduate even if it’s still gonna take some time.
I’m a big movie girl of course, and i’m also very into tv series (especially british ones), and big franchises in general. I danced for my whole life and enjoy travelling very much.

I would like to become an Au Pair because i think there’s no better way to experience a different culture and country, especially through the eyes of children. I’m mainly looking at the UK and Ireland since i’m a big fan of your countries and would love to move there one day. That’s another reason why i would love to add this experience to my book, since it’s very unlikely that, as a result of Brexit and the needed qualifications to currently move there, i will be able to. And it’s not just about the country, but also the people.
I admit i don’t have any explicit qualifications, but i had some experience with children for some time, since i have a 10 years old niece that i sometimes take care of, and have looked after a group of children together with other friends during a summer camp organised by my old church back in 2018.
I would love to enter a new environment given not only by a different country and culture, but by a different family. I love animals and can adapt easily to the needs.
I can be a bit shy and struggle at the beginning, but i adapt very fast to situations and places, and are able to enter my full self in no time.
I’m an easy person, quite funny and don’t require much. Other than looking after kids, i’m good with cleaning, taking care of animals and whatever is needed of me as long as it’s in my capabilities, and if it’s not, i’m always ready to learn. I’m not the greatest cook in Italy, but i’m pretty good at cooking some of our traditional dishes, like a pasta, lasagna or pizza, but i also love ethnic foods and to try new things.

I would absolutely love to experience this, and cherish everything that it would teach me.
