Hello family! I hope you are well. I'm Mariana, I am 30 years old and I graduated at the end of 2023. I'm looking for experience abroad before starting a career in my field here in Brazil.
I speak fluent English, and having the opportunity to practice it every day would be amazing.

I was an Au Pair in Saarbrücken, Germany, and it was a truly beautiful and enriching experience — one that I believe will remain a meaningful connection for years to come. I joined my host family in May 2024 and stayed with them for 1 year and 2 months.

I have extensive experience with children and also with elderly people, because I used to take care of my grandmother who, unfortunately, has alzhaimer, and I come from a large family where there always seems to be a new baby every year — and the next one will be my sister’s! I'm genuinely excited and happy about the baby’s arrival. ?

I’m currently looking for a short-term Au Pair opportunity in the UK, for up to 6 months, due to visa restrictions.

I am a calm person, a responsible driver, I know how to cook Brazilian food, but nothing like Google to help with a new recipe. I really like talking, but in another language I end up feeling a little insecure and I really want to change that. And one of the main reasons I would like to work with children it is because I believe that we can learn a lot from them.

I think a good word to describe me is joyful. I like to see the positive side of life and learn from it. I'm a little anxious and I do what I have to do in advance, when it is possible. I like to dance but I am not a great dancer haha
I really like discovering new things and places.
And after being a au pair I am planning to work for an internacional company.
