My name is Lova, I’m a twenty year old Swedish girl that loves to work as an au pair.
I have been in the US as an Au Pair for almost 3.5 months and I'm now in a friendly rematch with Au Pair In America and I have 8.5 months left of my au pair year.
Before I went to the US I lived in Helsingborg in the south of Sweden with my mom, step dad and three siblings Hannah, Jacob and Ella (who is currently an au pair in Athens US). My dad also live in Helsingborg and we have a great relationship. I have been very active growing up, trying different sports and activities such as soccer, horseback riding, disco dance, swimming and gymnastics. I trained group gymnastics for about seven years competing on a high level. Now I enjoy working out at the gym, running, yoga and pilates. We are an active family that enjoy both summer and winter vacations and activities. When turning thirteen my mom treated me with a vacation my choice - and I choose New York that I really enjoyed. Ever since I have dreamt of coming back to the US to experience and really get to know the culture and I'm so grateful for my first 3.5 months in the US and would really like to stay here my whole year and maybe more. I graduated upper secondary school in June 2022, where I studied Economics. I have spent the last year working and traveling. Me and one of my best girlfriends Klara went backpacking for four months in Australia and South Asia and came home mid may.

When my mom was in her twenties she went to California US as an au pair and I have heard amazing stories from her time there and now my step sister are working as an au pair in Athens US and she really loves it. I love children and I believe working as an au pair is a wonderful opportunity to get to know and experience another culture. I have several nieces and small children as close family friends, and often end up being the one spending time playing with them at get togethers.
