My name is Ahlam, I am 22 years old, and I come from the French-speaking part of Switzerland. I am currently studying English literature and history at university, and after completing my master’s degree, I hope to become a high school English teacher. To achieve this goal, I am eager to improve my spoken English and discover new cultures, which is why I am applying to become an au pair in Ireland.

I have always loved working with children. Growing up in a large family, with three older brothers, a younger sister, and a seven-year-old nephew, I have naturally been surrounded by children and have often helped care for them. I enjoy playing, creating, and learning alongside children, and I believe in combining fun with structure to help them feel safe and supported. My previous experiences assisting in classes and tutoring students have also given me patience and good communication skills with different age groups.
