Valentina (23), colombiano/a, Desempleado/a actualmente en Colombia quiere ser Au Pair en Estados Unidos

Dear host family,

I am Valentina Gomez and I am 23 years old, I am from Medellin, Colombia. A beautiful country which has given me bases as a person and saw me grow up and allowed me to prepare myself to live new adventures. All my life I have lived with my parents and my 32 year old sister.

Since I was a little girl I studied in a country school and in this place I learned to enjoy nature and learned to respect human beings regardless of their conditions and in high school I studied gastronomy and it is something that I love and I am very passionate about and I think I could teach some of this to my future host kids.

Until now I have studied law until my third semester and now I am ready to get to know a new culture and learn from it and I am sure that with you I will be able to live a wonderful experience.

And what can I tell you about myself? I am a responsible, friendly, very patient and empathetic girl. I am organized, decisive and dynamic. I like to spend quality time with my family, friends and also with my dog.
I like to travel, I like to dance and I also love to attend concerts. I like to read, have a picnis and do arts and crafts in my free time. In addition, I usually practice outdoor sports on Sundays and every day I try to go to the gym.

As for my experience with children, I have taken care of my mom's friend's daughters as a nanny on their vacations since 2017 when one of them was a baby and the other one was 4 years old until I still take care of them.
I also worked on a recreational vacation with childrens of all ages



I would add that I drive very well and with caution so it could be a good option if I had to take them somewhere.

So for this reason I decided to become an au pair and start an adventure in another country in a family environment, which I value very much. I am very excited about this opportunity, I know that living with your children and with you, in a different country like the United States will be of much personal growth for me.
