Dear Host Family!

I’d like to thank you for taking the time to read my letter to you, my name is Ambre! I’m 22 years old from Tahiti. I was born in Tahiti and at the age of 13 I moved to New Zealand by myself to go to school there and lived with host families for 6 years.

The reason why I wish to be an Au Pair is that I enjoy working with kids and like the family environment.
I have absolutely loved working with kids and have a lot of experience in that area.
Personally, I find their positivity and attitudes refreshing, with their young aspirations and outlooks on life.
I have spent a year already in Italy 8 months in Rome 6 months doing a language school 3 months as an au pair and then moved to Positano a did au pair for 4 months with a wonderful family.

I have had a fair bit of experience in working with kids, I’ve acquired many babysitting jobs, and frequently care for the kids in my host family in New Zealand , getting them ready and taking them to school most mornings during the week making lunch and dinner helping them get ready...I’ve looked after a range of children, ageing from 18 months to eleven years old. I feel I have a lot to offer, constant practice at home has made me a more than capable cook.I have experience with a morning school rush routine and after-school activities such as homework and reading, along with night routines.

I like to keep busy and engaged during the day, i myself enjoy sport activities such as running, water sports , skating I take my skate everywhere I go hahah... a lot of my interests surround Photography ,fashion, interior design and music. I love to laugh make jokes fool around simply being happy :)
I also have a passion for the ocean…
I have worked as sea guide doing whale watching & snorkeling tours and scuba diving.

During my time as an Au Pair, I expect to have mutual respect between me and my new family, I want to be in an environment where I feel safe and comfortable, mainly wanting to gain an amazing experience that I can look back on fondly. I believe I would be the perfect addition to your family. Also speak both fluent English and French and understand a bit of italian.
