Carta a la familia

I grew up in a complete and loving family. I had a carefree childhood full of love and support with my mom, dad and brother, who is 6 years younger than me. I am extremely grateful to my parents for their unconditional love and wise guidance that helped me find direction in life and understand my place in the world. I'm a social butterfly and passionate traveler, making friends from all corners of the globe. My best friend, Terka, and I navigate life's ups and downs together, whether in education or daily adventures. I'm drawn to learning, exploring new places, and meeting people. Challenges excite me, I love to play sports and in general I am very active person. My characteristics and interests led me to a high school that focuses on children. Right from the first year I knew that I had made the right choice. My main qualities include: Responsibility, diligence, consistency. I consider myself a person who can always be relied on and I always do my best not to disappoint those around me. I prefer to avoid arguments, but I'm open to helpful feedback. If there's an issue, I won't ignore it; instead, I'll work to find a solution. I try to stay positive and see the good in people, even though sometimes I might be too trusting. But I believe it's important to keep an open heart and learn from experiences. "Bringing love, laughter, and learning into every home I can." -Unknown author

Standing at the airport at the end of my exchange year, tears welled up in my eyes as I waved goodbye to my host family. I knew at that moment that America would forever have a special place in my heart. As I returned home, I felt a mixture of excitement at being reunited with my family and sadness at leaving something I feel in love. American culture opened my eyes and helped me find myself. I adored the warmth and openness of the people. This experience has led me to believe that my journey is far from over; it was just starting. I longed to return to America, a country that captivated me with its diversity and friendliness. I felt there was so much more to discover and contribute. I was attracted to the profession of au pair because it offered a unique opportunity to combine my interests and passions- kids, traveling, learning about new cultures and making new bonds. I would love to join your family with love, care and respect. I would like to bring a piece of my Czech heart into your home, and I would be happy if I could become a part of your everyday life. It would be an honor for me to become an older sister to your children and share in their development and joy. I am sure that it would be not only a work opportunity for me, but also a great personal and life experience.

I would like to find a family that would treat me like an adult. While I would very much like to experience everyday activities with you outside of work, I would also like to have my time to relax sometimes. I would be very happy if I could create a bond with the children that is bigger than just their babysitter. I like sports and spending time outdoors, so it would be great if my family shared these values as well.

I have a lot of experience working with children. I lived abroad several times. I have worked with many different cultures. I adapt well, I am respectful, I am responsible and I know that the job of Au Pair is a very responsible job. I know it's not primarily about travel, as it is often presented to us Au Pairs, but primarily about providing care for your children. I keep all this in mind and believe that I would be a great addition to your beautiful family.

Experiencia con niños

You may be wondering why, despite my strong passion for working with children, I didn't decide to continue my studies at a university in the Czech Republic to get a formal degree and start teaching as soon as possible...

America stole my heart when I was only ten years old. Films depicting American high schools, smiling residents, American flags on houses... it all looked so breathtaking. In my sophomore year of high school, I was lucky enough to receive a government FLEX scholarship that gave me the incredible opportunity to spend a year in the United States. While living with a host family, I immersed myself in American culture, education, community life, and volunteering. I have discovered sports I never knew existed, engaged in American traditions, and most importantly, encountered the warmth and generosity of the American people. They have given me so much and I feel very lucky if I could give them back at least a little bit.

I have adored children since childhood. It started with the birth of my younger brother, when I stood by my mother's side whenever she needed me. This passion continued by volunteering at children's camps and later studying to become a future teacher. I have experienced countless days filled with children's laughter at practices in both kindergarten and elementary school. In the third year, I flew to a kindergarten in Portugal in order to understand how the education system works outside the borders of the Czech Republic. I gained a lot of new experiences and discovered that I love children even more than I thought possible. Over the summer I secured a job in Greece as a hotel animator. Despite the fun I always have with children, I never forget the immense responsibility this profession entails, because the children are here one minute, and in the blink of an eye they are somewhere else.
