Dear Host Family:

My name is Carolina. I am a 23 year-old girl, from Spain, and recently I’ve finished my degree on Primary Education (to teach children between 6 and 12 years old) at the University of Valladolid. I consider myself a calm, respectful, affectionate and sociable person. What I like to do most in my free time is to practice different sports, and for that reason I graduated with a major in Physical Education (which is part of the Primary Education degree in Spain). I also entertain myself by watching movies/series and playing board games and also some video games. On weekends, for example, I like to go for a walk with my friends.

I was born in Canada, so I have a Canadian passport. Despite being born there, after 2 months my parents returned to Brazil (my mother is Brazilian). I have lived in Brazil until I was 18 years old, since then I live in Spain (my father is Spanish). Bearing that in mind, I speak Spanish and Portuguese fluently. I also speak English well because in 2012 I lived for a whole year in Cleveland, Ohio (it was one of the best experiences of my life).

Working with kids has been a dream of mine for years, and that is precisely why I would like to be an Au Pair. Having the opportunity to teach them significant knowledge that will help them in their day to day life seems encouraging to me. I would take care of them and love them as if they were part of my own family.
