Dear future (Granny) Au Pair,

we are a loving, a little chaotic and - as I like to think - super nice German family living in a little place called Windsbach (6,000 citizens) near Nuremberg in the middle of Germany (and the North of Bavaria). The area here is called "romantisches Frankenland" and we have many small lakes, castles, picturesque villages and small towns. Windsbach itself, for example, is famous for its boys choir (Windsbacher Knabenchor), which travels the whole world to give concerts.
We - that is my husband, our twin girls Lorelai and Gwendolyn, our two dogs Cujo (big husky mix rescue from Croatia) and Lara (little, annoying Chihuahua mix saved from a truck in Romania) and our cat Amadeus (16 years and super sweet), and, of course, me (Mommy).
Our daughters are two and a half years old, they are dizygotic twins, very different in nature, but both adorable (as I say being completely unbiased, of course). They have been going to daycare since September, but since we cannot get much help from our friends or family for different reasons, we realized we need some more help in order to survive the next couple of years.
I am a doctor in the field of work and organizational psychology and decided during my doctorate that I would also like to work as a psychotherapist, so that I had to start another round of studies at University which I am currently trying to finish. Having two jobs, the house and the kids etc. is really difficult, especially right now, when the kids often cannot go to day care due to the common childhood illnesses, runny noses etc.that we are encountering at the moment. Inspiring as I obviously am, my husband decided to change careers as well and is now becoming a teacher - which entails doing two years of traineeship and about a million exams.
We would hence love to find an Au Pair, who wants to become a part of our family and help us deal with our daily struggles. In return, we are happy to finance language school, take you with us e.g. to our holiday home in Hungary or visit my parents in Cologne (greatest place ever), and provide for a fun time in Germany. Of course, after your time here is up, we would love for our relationship to hold for the rest of our lives, since you will be family by the time you leave :)
