Welcome to the wonderful land of Woking! Located one train (not tube) stop from London, Woking has a decent city center with a large shopping center, places to eat and mingle and several leisure activities all walkable from our home. Woking is part of the country of Surrey, which was described to us as "leafy" by the estate agent we spoke to when moving from America. This is factually correct, as we're surrounded by roads with a canopy of leaves from all the trees.

We are the s. A family of four and a dog (if you consider a Doodle a dog, more like a teddy bear). We lived in Los Angeles, CA and moved to the UK 2.5 years ago to be closer to family, as our eldest was reaching school age, and supported by work. Our eldest is currently finishing year 1, and our youngest has one more year of daycare before heading off to reception. As both parents work, and employers are constantly adapting their work from home policies, it has left us to look for assistance, specifically with school pickups through bedtime in the week.

Our weekends tend to be a mixture of kid activities (football, piano, swim) and family activities. Weather permitting we like to get outdoors and/or do some exploring. We minimize screen times and therefore really try and engage during the hours we have as a family. We'd really like to find someone like minded, who could join the family at their lesisure.
