Dear host family!
My name is Clara and I’m an 18-year-old Danish girl who is finishing high school this summer!
I am a fun, energetic and chill girl who loves to experience new things and go on new fun adventures. I love to listen to music, and I quite enjoy it when it’s playing on my record player (I have a cute little collection of vinyl records (mainly 90’s)). Furthermore, I enjoy reading books and literature and I also have quite the collection of books! I like to watch TV and drink tea with my family! I also quite enjoy playing a game of Monopoly occasionally. When I need to be active, I go to the gym with my parents and do some Pilates. I like watching movies and TV-series about spies and intelligence services;)
I love big cities and I see myself thriving in one! I enjoy seeing different people from different backgrounds thriving and living side by side.
I am quite adventurous and very fond of travelling! In this past year I’ve been to London, Florence, Mallorca (Spain), New York City, Mexico (Cancun), several times in Copenhagen, and in February I’m going to Barcelona with my good friend Laura.
As an au pair I would have a good drive and be motivated to be a great au pair for your family. I would love to play with your kids, helping them with homework and what other needs you may have. I am eager to learn, and I’m sure I would learn a lot from your children/family as well.
I am finishing my last year of high school at Aarhus Katedralskole. My primary subjects are English, Italian, Danish, History, Math’s, and Latin.
I have three years of experience as a gymnastics coach. Here I taught and worked with children in the age group of 4-6 a few times a week.
I live with my parents and two younger brothers in the suburbs of Aarhus, which is a fairly big town. I did Rhythmic Group Gymnastics for 10 years and had that as a big passion for me.
All in all, I would describe myself as a happy, outgoing, and energetic girl who is not afraid to express my opinions and values.
