I began being a "mommy's helper" for kids in my neighborhood when I turned 13, and from there became a regular babysitter for families across my city as soon as I could drive. I also ran the kindergarten class at my church's daycare for almost 2 years! I became a full time nanny the last 2 years of high school for an elementary school boy as well as babysitting for others on the side. Once in college, I got my first job as a pre-school teacher at the private academy close by my apartment where I taught the 4-5 year olds in the afternoon as well being a permanent fixture in the 8 weeks - 1 year olds room in the mornings 3 days a week! Now I have spent the last several months (since August 2023) as an au pair to two wonderful teenaged girls! I aid in getting them to / from school, with their English school work, being an older sister of sorts, and I prepare dinner each night for the whole family!
