Dear Host,

My name's Elena (Jiawen is my chinese name) and I am a 24yo spanish-chinese architect, from Barcelona.
I was born and raised in Spain, but with a chinese family, that's why I was so lucky to have both cultures in me.

I'm currently finishing my Masters in Architecture Studies, and I have been working in architectural firms for more than 3 years now. I'm now specializing in healthcare architecture. I love everything related to design, I'm quite good at creative activities.

I signed up as an au pair because I wanted to experience something different in another country, before fully commiting to architecture. I want a fresh breath of air in my life because I'm a little bit burned out after seven intense years in university.

+ I can confirm I'm pretty good with kids, I have a bright personality around them because they lighten up my mood a lot, and I love playing with them, althought I'm also really quiet and chill. My family consists of four sisters and I'm the second one, so I needed to look after my younger sisters and my nephews.
+ I also love physical activities, I practice taekwondo and dancing weekly.
+ Reading books is another hobby I enjoy a lot, as well as creative stuff evolving design.
+ I have been living alone for the past seven years, so I'm really careful of homecare and can fully be able to clean and cook nice meals.
+ I also know how to speak fluently four languages, being spanish, catalan, english and chinese. I would enjoy teaching some languages to kids as well.

Because of all of this stated, I think I'm quite qualified for this position, as I consider myself quite a good figure around kids.
