My name is caroline, I am 18 years old (turning 19 soon). I come from Bergen a town in Norway where I live with my family of five. I have my mom who work in a bank and my dad who has his own business. I have two sibling and a dog, me and my twin brother are the youngest in our family afree our big sister who is two years older. I love pets, my dog is a golden retriever and she is 11 years old.

I am a sporty person and played handball up until I was 16 years old but did quit because I did an exchange year in the US. Within the Handball community I have coached two teams, a guy team and a girl team. I have also been my neighborhood’s babysitter. This was basically my income in 10th grade, in 11th grade I started working at flying tiger a store down town I Bergen, I liked my job a lot with meeting new people every shift. I had to quit this job again because I did a year in America. I did not work in America due to the visa rules, however the month I came back I got a job as a nurse at a elderly home, here I help clean, make them food, get them ready for the day, help them go to the bathroom and sometimes I follow them to the doctors or the store…. At the same time I do help out a newspaper in Norway with content for their social media platforms. Since my dad has his own business, me and my sister have worked in his warehouse every summer since we were 12. However outside of work and school I hangout with friends a lot, almost everyday. The days I'm not with friends I do homework, I try to be a straight A student.

I’m a really adventurous, curious and open minded girl so I do like to try and experience as much as possible. This is why I wanna go to go abroad and see how families live there. I did live in a host family in America and loved the experience of trying something new. I have always dreamed of moving to Australia wanted to there over America when I was 16 however I was just too scared to go because of the distance and the thought of snakes haha. People would describe me as loving, caring, fun and kind. The most important thing to me is the people I have around me. Anyways I hope to find a host family that sue me well and I am excited for my next adventure.

As I said I would like to become an aupair because I would love to experience other cultures and other family dynamics. I love family life and think I would fit as an aupair. I talk to my old host family from the us almost everyday and hope to get that conversation with another family in the world as well. I have already experienced being new into a family and think I can adapt quickly into new changes. I love languages and wanna learn Spanish fluent since I already know English so well. I’m a big communicator which I think is needed with being an aupair. I would really love to be a part of your family. I have already researched a lot about Australian culture and can’t wait to experience it with you guys. I’m also willing to take lessons to become as great as possible aupair for you guys.
