Hello future Host Family, my name is María Báez, I am 23 years old and I am from Bogotá, Colombia. I am very excited to have an amazing experience being an Au Pair, I am ready to give your family all my love, my knowledge and my patience, and I am also ready to learn about your culture, your language, your interests and everything else that you want to share with me.

In Colombia I used to live with my mother, who is a speech therapist, my father, who is an architect and my brother, who is studying civil engineering. We have two cats and a dog. We are a very united family. I also like spending time with my friends, doing activities like going to the movies, cooking, painting, playing tennis and being at the country club.

My first language is spanish, but I have studied all my life in a bilingual school, so I consider that I have a good level of English, which allows me to communicate and, above all, understand others. I’m also very interested in learning new words and improving my second language with us, and if you want I can also help you learning Spanish.
