Dear Future Host Family in Germany,

My name is Pimsiri, but you can call me “Yee” for short. I’m 23 years old and originally from Chiang Mai, a creative and peaceful city in northern Thailand. I recently graduated with a degree in Fine Art Painting, and I currently work as a multidisciplinary artist and part-time art teacher for children.

I’m applying to become your Au Pair because I’ve always had a deep interest in german culture and language — in fact, I’ve been fascinated by the Deutsch language since I was 13. I’ve recently started learning it more seriously, and I believe living in europe and connecting with a local family would be the most meaningful way to continue learning. I also see the Au Pair experience as a chance to grow personally, explore everyday life in a different culture, and contribute positively to a family environment.

I believe I could be a great match for your family because I’m creative, responsible, and genuinely enjoy spending time with children. Through my work as an art teacher, I’ve had the chance to guide kids through both playful and educational activities, encouraging their curiosity and expression. I’m also happy to help with light household tasks, homework, and daily routines.

In my free time, I enjoy hiking, making music (I play piano, guitar, bass, and synthesizer), and cooking Thai food. I’d love to share some of this with your family if you’re interested! I’m calm, respectful, and very open to learning new ways of life — and I would be grateful for the opportunity to become a part of yours.

Expériences en garde d'enfants

Although I haven’t officially worked as an Au Pair before, I have extensive hands-on experience caring for children in both family and professional settings. I was born into a family of Municipal school art teachers, So creativity and working with kids has always been a natural part of my life. As an art teacher for children, I guide them through fun and educational creative activities that help develop their imagination and fine motor skills, while also making sure they feel safe, heard, and supported.

In addition to my teaching work, I’ve spent the past few years caring regularly for my 10-year-old nephew. We spend time together after school drawing, crafting, playing music, and enjoying outdoor activities. These moments have become some of my favorites, and they’ve taught me valuable lessons in patience, communication, and how to nurture a child’s creativity in a fun and meaningful way.

I would love to become an Au Pair abroad because I truly enjoy spending time with children and supporting their development. At the same time, I’m passionate about learning new cultures, and Germany has always been a country I’m drawn to — especially the language, which I’ve been interested in since I was 13. I want to become an Au Pair in Germany because I admire the country’s cultural diversity, impressive development, and the beauty of its traditions. I believe that becoming an Au Pair is not only a cultural exchange but also a life experience that helps me grow emotionally, socially, and professionally. I look forward to sharing my creativity and kindness with a family while learning from them in return.
