Dear Host Family,

my name is Johanna, and I am a young student from Dortmund who still wants to get to know many great places and people in the world. I am studying Journalism in my sixth semester and will probably complete my studies in September this year. My aim is to shape my daily work with as much personality as possible, which is why I am sure that I am in perfect hands in the field of media. However, whether I want to work in TV, marketing, audiovisual, social media or multimedia, I do not yet know exactly. I would like to use my stay as an au pair to find out who I really am, what makes me special and define my personal goals more precisely. In a cheerful and warm way, I'm known for meeting great new people quickly and caring for everyone I care about. I'm the "mom" in my group of friends and the "chick" in my big patchwork family with German and Spanish roots. In my parents' circle of friends, I often looked after the younger children with a lot of passion and fun. That was always a very special task for me, because later on I would like to have children myself. In the meantime, I could practise a little while, combined with seeing more of the world, getting out of my comfort zone and finding my goals in life. I am restless, curious, freedom-loving and totally active. Sport, society and creativity are a must have in my daily life. Nevertheless, a structured daily routine and good self-organisation in general are very important to me. but I am sure that I will also be able to learn a lot from you. I would be very happy if we could find each other and get to know, support and perhaps even enrich your family!
