Hello! My name is Julia and I am from Melbourne Australia. I come from a big family with 2 brothers and a sister and as I have grown up, I have come to cherish these times spent with my family and hope that as an au pair, I can help create these special memories for the children in my care!

A bit about me, in my free time I enjoy being active as I was a ballet dancer for many years and I believe this has taught me many skills such as a strong work ethic and resilience. This encouraged me to develop a love for things like Pilates, running and yoga, which I find helps me a lot when I'm stressed and brings me a lot of joy. I also like being outside and going for long walks, I particularly like the beach and I often go surfing with my family. I also have a strong passion for cooking and preparing recipes, and I have a blog where I share simple and healthy recipes. , I have always been an avid reader, I love going to museums/seeing art, and I love playing and listening to music. Finally, I love traveling! Part of the reason I became an au pair was to be able to discover the world and I would love to meet a family who could help me see more of the world and help me learn a new culture.

For me, the possibility of becoming an au pair is a great opportunity to combine my love of French and my love of working with children. I consider myself to be a responsible, dynamic, hardworking, independent, empathetic, and kind person. Because of this, I always loved working with and spending time with children; I love their curiosity, their innocence, and their energy and I don't consider time spent with them like work. This led me to seize many opportunities such as helping children to read at homework clubs, organizing holiday programs, doing frequent babysitting for families where I would help with the nighttime routine, and playing with the children and have had the experience of being an Au Pair where I cared for a 2-year-old and a 3-month-old baby. All of this has led me to have the necessary experience to ensure a positive experience for everyone.

As for French culture, I have always had a love and passion for this culture above all others.
