Hi! I hope you're doing fine.

My name is Maxine. I am 21 years old, turning 22 this year. I live in the Philippines with my family along with 3 dogs and 4 cats.

I studied Psychology in College but decided to take a break and explore the possibility of becoming an Au Pair.

I want to become an Au Pair because I want to explore, meet diverse people, and share experiences with them. I want to share my rich culture while learning about others. Also, I love spending time with children. By being present inside their little worlds, I get to connect better with them. I have learned that childhood is the most important phase of a person's life. Being a part of my future host family's children during these years would be fulfilling. I think the Au Pair program is perfect for me; I get to connect with people and explore.

This would be my first time looking for a host family and being an Au Pair. I want to become an Au Pair to fulfill my desire to travel and learn about new cultures. I have always wanted to go to Europe and the Au Pair program offers an opportunity that makes my wishes within my reach. I want to explore Europe not just as a tourist but as someone who gets to live their culture every day.

About Me:
I like reading books, watching sports and films and going to karaoke with my friends. I am fond of cooking and baking. Photography is also one of the things that I am passionate about. I also enjoy painting and crocheting. I am fluent in English and I adore learning languages. I can speak a bit of French and I am currently studying German. I like editing photos and that’s what I currently do right now—I freelance online. I consider myself an independent, creative, reliable, enthusiastic and organized person. After my Au Pair program, I will go back to university and finish my studies.

Expériences en garde d'enfants

I have always been someone who likes to connect with kids. In my early teens, I used to babysit the kids around my neighbourhood from ages 3 to 12 years old. I like to organize activities for them for entertainment. I used to help take care of my 1-2 year-old nieces. I make baby formulas, help with their basic needs and ensure their safety. I was often in charge of them during family outings. My most recent experience with babysitting is with a 5-year-old little girl. I mostly put her to sleep and play with her in our garden.

I am very experienced with a variety of household chores like preparing meals, grocery shopping, cleaning, and doing the laundry. I do most of them daily and some weekly. I like to cook; I always cook for my family during special occasions. I will gladly be involved in your household routine.

Aside from my childcare experiences and skills and doing household chores, I am qualified for the Au Pair program because I am responsible and versatile. You can rely on me to follow through with your tasks and adapt to your schedule.
