Dear Host Family,

Hi from Germany! My name is Lia and I am 24 years old. I am currently studying at a university in Munich to be a primary school teacher. My main subjects are sports and english. I would love to gain some more experience abroad before starting my last semester in October. I sadly only have a short gap between my exams and classes, therefore I am only looking for a two month position between the beginning of August and the beginning of October.

A little about myself:
I have been an Au Pair before and I loved it! After graduating school, I nannied a five year old girl for a family in Exmouth, WA. I stayed there for 6 months and I really enjoyed getting to know the community and culture there!
To this day I work with children on a day-to- day basis. For the past year I have been teaching a first and fourth grade on top of my studies for a few hours a week. Before that I helped out in kindergarten for a year.

In my spare time I am always outdoors. I love to go on runs, swim, hike, enjoy nature or travel to see new places! As an Au Pair I would be very happy to spend a lot of time outside to play and be active. I also really enjoy doing crafts or painting.
I have four cats and a golden retriever at home, therefore I am very good with pets :)
