1- Hello! Let me introduce myself !

My name’s Emma, I’m 20 years old, I am French and American! I’ve lived in Paris my whole life, I went to College for a year and studied English and Spanish and I started working as well as a saleswoman in French bakeries where I learned a lot of skills.

Currently, I work in a luxurious chocolate shop based in the heart of Paris, next to the Louvre.

I love baking,creating recipes, given the fact that my father has shown me his passion for the art of cooking my whole life.

In my free time, I enjoy running, swimming, maintaining a physical activity! I like to do clay, I’ve always loved drawing since I was a kid and I absolutely adore thrift shopping.

In 6 words I’d describe myself as :

2- I would like to become an Au Pair & Nanny because I think it’s an amazing journey. Being able to contribute to a child’s growth and education is a privilege. My mom was an Au Pair in her twenties, she moved to France from the States, she always reminds me of how much it was the best decision of her life and that she had never felt more alive. I would be lying if I said it wasn’t also to discover a new country, a different lifestyle, new cultures and meet new people.

3- I Believe I would be a great fit for a host famille because I am caring, committed and genuinely enjoy spending time with children. I totally understand the importance of trust and communication in a home, and I'm ready to being both a helpful support to the parents and a positive fun role model for children. I'm adaptable to new different routines, I know how to create a safe and fun environment for kids and I can be a reliable support for the Family.

4- I qualifiy for the position given that I have experience working with children. I have passed a French training (Bafa) that deals with Child care, I was then able to be a childcare worker during 8 months in a primary school where I Took care of children of all ages. I understand the responsibility that comes with being an au pair. I'm patient and know how to handèle different situations calmly and with care. I can help with schoolwork, playtime, daily habits. I've always loved taking care of my little cousin, seeing her grow up and spending time with her was a delight!
