Expériences en garde d'enfants
I come from a big family. I’m the oldest of five, two younger brothers and two younger sisters. My mom is also the oldest of seven so I’ve always had lots of cousins around. Our house was always full of people, I’ve been used to helping out and being involved with everyone
Since I was young, I’ve always been around children. Growing up in a big family, I was the oldest so I naturally ended up helping take care of my younger siblings and cousins. I’ve been involved with them since they were babies helping with feeding, playing, doing homework and sometimes even putting them to bed. It’s something I’ve done for years so looking after kids feels really natural to me.
Apart from my own family, I’ve also had other experiences working with children. I used to be a staff member at HelloAuda, where I helped run STEM education activities for students from primary school up to high school. I taught them about science, helped them build simple robots and played games that helped them think and solve problems. It was really fun because I got to meet all kinds of kids and I learned how to connect with different personalities and energy levels.
I’ve also volunteered at summer camps since high school. These camps were always focused on providing kids with a fun, safe and educational experience. Some of the camps were local village camps, and others were organized by schools or the province. I spent many days with the kids, from morning until night, making sure everything ran smoothly. My role included organizing engaging activities, planning games that encouraged teamwork, ensuring the kids had meals and snacks and being there to support them whenever needed
Another part-time job I had was at a Japanese café that had a small playground for kids. A lot of parents would come to relax while letting their children play, so I was often the one keeping an eye on the kids, talking to them, making sure they were safe and sometimes playing with them too. Many of the customers were international families, so I got to use English and sometimes other languages which helped me improve my communication skills and even pick up some fun words from different cultures. The kids there became like my little friends and I really enjoyed being around them.
All of these experiences have helped me feel really comfortable working with children. I’ve learned how to be patient, how to stay calm when things get chaotic and how to make sure kids feel safe, happy and understood.
I’m really excited to experience life in a new way not just as a visitor but as part of a family. I love spending time with children and believe their curiosity and creativity can teach me so much
Being an Au Pair is more than just helping out with daily tasks for me. It’s about connecting with others, learning from each other and growing together. I’m looking forward to living in a new city, exploring a different culture and seeing life from a fresh perspective
I don’t expect anything special just a warm and kind family who’s open to sharing their life with me. I hope to feel like a big sister in the house not just a helper. I’d love to spend time with your children, get to know them and be someone they feel comfortable with.
I also hope we can have a good connection and honest communication. I want to learn from you, your culture and your everyday life. At the same time, I’d be happy to share my own culture, help around and do my best every day.
Most of all, I just hope we can enjoy each other’s company, support one another and create some nice memories together.
