I have always enjoyed being with children, young or old, because they can bring out my childlike spirit, which in my opinion none of us should ever lose!!!
Having many brothers and sisters, and many little cousins, I have always been in contact with children and as the years matured I became their babysitter, taking care of them, spending time with them when their parents were at work and helping them with their homework as well.
The last year I also babysat a 3 years oldchild during the summer months, feeding him and spending afternoons with him.
I have also been an animator at a summer camp, with children with several years of age.
And for two months I was an au pair in America, in New Jersey where I took care of two wonderful children aged 6 and 3.

In this two month as an Aupai I understood that be with the kids is not only a work but is spend with them, time, love,laught and more emotion that all togheter can built a real connection, not only with the kids but with the all family.

Being with children has always appealed to me, making new acquaintances, traveling and discovering new cultures has always fascinated me, but after the two months I was in America I realized that this experience besides being a “job” enriches you personally, makes you see the world with different eyes, makes you discover that the “reality” you live in is not the only one, puts you in relationship with other people, makes you better understand the behavior of the human world, the habits of other people, their thinking and their way of life. It makes you get to know people, children and families, with whom you bind a relationship that goes beyond the superficial but makes you feel part of something, part of a new real family.

As said before from this experience I expect many positive things, I know it is not an easy experience, but an experience that can give a lot. I expect to find a family with whom I can create a bond that can go beyond the work sphere, where we can get to know each other, become attached and exchange especially the different lifestyles, cultures and languages.
I hope that this experience can enrich me but also the family where I will go.
I hope to have fun, have good experiences and find a family where we can live with serenity, love, respect and fun.
