Dear future host family,


Thank you for reading my letter and spending your time on getting to know me. I am very excited about getting to know you and looking forward to staying with you:),but first of all I would like to introduce myself to you, to give you a first impression of me.

My name is Ivy, I'm 22years old and I was Born on the 16th of January 2002 in Kenya.
I'm a 2nd born in a family of 6,I have 3 sisters and both parents who are living in Nairobi kenya.My Dad is 50 years old works with the ministry of sports kenya which gives him an opportunity to travel around the world attending sports events:)
My mum is 43 years old a business Lady with 2 shops in Nairobi next to our home,My elder sister is 27 years old an Insurance officer in a Hospital and she's planning to start a new opportunity in Spain.Our 3rd born sister is 13years old in grade 8 and our last born sister is 3 years old.

I graduated from highschool in 2018 and joined ICS college in Nairobi to pursue Human Resources and Management which I'm yet to graduate.Currently I'm residing in Dubai, United Arab Emirates for 2 and a half years now.
I've been a live out nanny to 1 girl who is 5 years old now with a family of 3 here in Dubai.
I work 5 days in a week ,my mainly duties are picking her up from school, while her mom drops her off to school in the morning while leaving for her office .After school I play with her at home do activities with her and our favorite activity is painting.At 4:30pm we go to the park,play football, catch catch, badminton, volleyball and sometimes she plays with friends. I bring her home and feed her dinner and get her ready for bed then end my day at 7.On Tuesdays and Thursdays she has little gym and I take her for that and bring her back home and sometimes she also has playdates with friends and I take her for that as well.We always have the best time together!I love looking after children because you can learn so much from them.

I would describe myself as a responsible and mature person. I like to plan things ahead and be
prepared for any occasion. I am not scared of new challenges and I don’t give up easily.

I have always wanted to travel around the world to and get to know different cultures.I think it would be the best opportunity to travel and to gain a new family on the other side of the world.

I am looking for a host family who is open-minded and lovely. I don‘t want to be just a worker but a part of your family and also a big sister for your children. Of course I’ll give my best to treat your children as if they were my own and take good care of them.

I hope we can develope a close relationship and work and live together as a family.
