My childcare experience includes volunteering in a kindergarten as well as the Sunday school. In the morning we would sing, tell stories or have a school related activity to help kids ease into the school day. We would also engage in other school activities like drawing, coloring, clay modelling, writing where the kids would copy what is written on the board and also reading out loud to create the association. We would also have some play time where kids engage in hands activities and creative explorations.
I have also taken care of my younger siblings the youngest being six years old. I have been of great help since she was born by feeding her, changing her diapers and making sure that she is comfortable at all times.
Reasons for being an au pair;
cultural exchange-by being an au pair it will allow me to immerse myself in a different culture, learn a new language and gain a deeper understanding of different customs and traditions.
personal growth- by being an au pair living in a new country and being responsible for the well being of children can be challenging but it also provide a unique opportunity for personal growth and self discovery.
Independence- living away from home and taking care of myself and others will foster independence and self reliance. It is an opportunity to gain confidence and become more self sufficient.
Childcare experience- As an au pair I will have an opportunity to work closely with kids helping them grow and learn. It's a chance to make a positive impact on their lives and build lasting connection.
