My name is Anna, I am 24 years old, and I am an Italian student. I have a Bachelor's degree in Psychology, and I am currently completing my Master’s degree in Neuroscience at the University of Padua, both entirely in English. My academic background and personal experiences have led me to develop a strong passion for child growth and development (I even completed an internship at the University of Cambridge in England on neonatal development and wrote my thesis on this!), as well as a great interest in different cultures and new life experiences.

My desire to become an Au Pair comes from my love for being around children and my eagerness to immerse myself in a new family environment just as I did a few years ago. At the age of 17, I spent a year in the United States as an exchange student, living with an American family with three children aged 4, 8, and 10. Even though I was there for study purposes, I was welcomed as a true older sister and had the opportunity to help take care of them. This experience strengthened my ability to adapt to new situations and build genuine connections with new people, whom I now consider my second family.

Beyond my experience with children, I believe my independence and sense of responsibility can be a valuable addition to your family. I have been living on my own for five years due to my studies, which has made me an autonomous, organized person who respects personal space and privacy. I also love animals, so living with dogs or cats would not be a problem at all. Additionally, I enjoy cooking and would be happy to introduce you to some delicious Italian dishes!

I am looking for a family to spend the summer months with, from June to August. My first language is Italian, I speak English fluently (IELTS C2), and I also have some basic knowledge of Spanish and Slovenian.
