We are looking for two people: 1) A P/T live-out nanny, and 2) a live-in au pair.

The following are the details for the Live-out Nanny position

P/T live-out nanny Position Specifications
- FTE weekly hours (40hrs)
- FTE annual salary (£30,500)
- FTE annual leave (33 days)
- P/T weekly hours (28hrs: Wed+Thu 0830-1830, Fri 1530-2330)
- P/T annual salary (£21,350)
- P/T annual leave (23.1 days)

- If over 25 years old, use of company car during work hours

P/T live-out nanny Applicant Requirements
- Clean driving license
- First aid certificate
- Previous SEND experience in either early childcare or as a nanny.
- Two positive references
- Can live and work in the UK legally
- Have own car (for commuting to work if over 25 years old, and for day trips with children if under 25 years old*)
- Live locally (within 1hr commute of work)
- Can swim
- If experience is in early childcare: satisfactory PVG
- Able to pass BPSS

P/T live-out nanny Position Overview
- You will provide dedicated childcare, ensuring the safety, well-being, and development of children from a private household setting.
- You will support the children’s educational, social, and emotional growth while maintaining a structured and nurturing environment.
- You are required to have a proactive approach, be reliabile, and a have genuine passion for child development.

P/T live-out nanny Primary Responsibilities
- Provide attentive and responsible childcare, ensuring safety at all times.
- Develop and maintain daily routines, including meal preparation, nap/bedtime schedules, and playtime.
- Engage children in educational and developmental activities, including arts, crafts, and outdoor play; taking the children to libraries, museums, play parks, and related outings regularly is expected.
- Transport children from/to nursery, extracurricular activities, and appointments as needed.
- Communicate regularly with parents, providing updates on daily activities and child progress.
- Ensure all toys, children’s clothing, and other belongings are kept tidy and clean; periodically throughout the day these items should be tidied away and areas where the children have been will be clean by the end of each shift.
- Prepare nutritious meals and snacks that align with dietary requirements and fully clean up (i.e. tables, counters, dishes/cutlery) after food preparation and meal/snack times.

P/T live-out nanny Supporting Tasks
- Perform light housekeeping related to the children, such as tidying play areas/bedrooms, cleaning toys, organizing clothing, and maintaining the cleanliness of the childrens bathroom facility.
- Assist with hygiene routines, including bathing, dressing, and potty training as needed.
- Occasional overnight care may be required: overseeing all night time and morning routines and providing any care during the night as required.
- Keeping the work area tidy and clean, including tidying up after him/herself by the end of each shift.

*we will reimburse you £0.45/mile you travel with the children on trips if you use your own vehicle.
