Dear future host family:
I'm already super excited to get to know you, but first I'd like to introduce myself. My name is Ines, I'm a 19 year old college student currently living in Spain. I was born and raised in Guatemala, however I've had many multicultural experiences. As I was 7 years old I had to move to Rochester, Minnesota in the US, where I lived for about 1.5 years. I was also part of a student exchange program in Germany when I was 13 years old. I also spent 2 months in Europe (mostly in Berlin, Germany) from November till January 2021/22 where I had to take care of 3 kids (ages 8 and 11) and absolutely loved the experience. I'm familiar with diversity and all kinds of people, and therefore would absolutely love to learn more and experience your culture :)
I'm a very outgoing person and love to engage with people. I'm responsible, empathic, communicative and open-minded. I enjoy learning all type of new things. I also like to share my knowledge and help others, that's why I tutor kids between 6 and 13 years old.
Although I'm an only child I have lots of younger cousins, with whom I play and spend a lot of time together. In my family there are a lot of chefs, including my mom. So I've always been surrounded by food and cooking. I could gladly help you out when it comes to mealtimes and have fun baking activities with your kids. I've tried keto and vegetarian diets, so I'm very versatile (and pretty healthy) when it comes to cooking. But don't worry, now I eat EVERYTHING!!
I want to become an Au Pair because I love new experiences and adventures. I enjoy taking care of children and playing with them. I also want to experience a new culture and keep myself busy during the summertime.
