I have extensive experience as an au pair and live-in tutor. I have worked with families here in my countries that i am not related to, caring for children of all ages. I have provided them with a nurturing and stimulating environment, engaged them in age-appropriate activities, and helped them with their schoolwork. I have also been responsible for preparing meals, maintaining a clean and organized household, and transporting children to and from school boarding a taxi since i dont have a license yet.

I love being an au pair and live-in tutor because it allows me to combine my two passions: caring for children and teaching. I find it incredibly rewarding to watch children grow and learn, and I am always eager to help them reach their full potential. I also enjoy the cultural exchange that comes with being an au pair because i will get to learn so much about different cultures and ways of life, and I will be grateful for the opportunity to share my own culture with others.

I would like to become an au pair and live-in tutor abroad because it allows me to travel to new places, learn new languages, and experience different cultures. I am also passionate about education and I believe that all children deserve access to quality education. I would love to use my skills and experience to help children in different countries learn and grow.

Here are some specific examples of my experience as an au pair and live-in tutor:

family 1, I worked with a family of six, including four children aged 7;8;10 and 12. I was responsible for their care every day from morning to evening, five days a week plus weekends. I helped them with their schoolwork, prepared their meals, and took them to and from school. I also planned and implemented a variety of activities for them, including arts and crafts, music, and outdoor games.

Family 2, I worked with a family of two that grew to five, including two children aged 2 and 5. I was responsible for their care 24/7, the whole week for months and in many occasions in the absence and presence of parents. I helped them with their homework, tutored them in maths, English, musics, drawings and science, and took them to extracurricular activities. I also prepared their meals and helped them with their bedtime routine. We always have Artistic adventures, kitchen fun (baking, juice making, grilling, pastries etc), Story time extravaganza, indoor Campout(arts and crafts, swimming and others) , Sports,Family game night, Charity outings, Outings with parents to the mall like on one of the photos below. One instance out of many I stayed with the children for a month while their parents went out of region for work last November and came back then we went to the mall and other nice restaurants. That’s not the first time I’ve been with their children in their absence even when she was in labour at the hospital with the husband I was with the children all through that period and after she was discharged she came back I was still there helping to clean, laundry, tidying rooms and toys, cook, prepare children for school and bring them back home, feed and bathe them, do homework’s and plays too, reading and telling stories, put them to bed and help the mom with the new born like doing similar things I’m doing for the older siblings including changing diapers and carrying her most often like in the videos. I’ve been with them helping most often since their first baby Purity, then Melody and now Amy. Family friends and No payments, I love what I do, it brings a lot of joy and fulfillment and I’m happy helping and putting smiles on the faces of people , I go there times to times to help when they need assistance especially if dad is traveling and mom will need help with the children. We learn and grow to forgive together during our moments. They got soft hearts since sometimes some teachings they don’t like it nor understand it at the moment like Purity comes to church with coins and I’m like where’s it from? I took it from daddy’s car. Did he gave you permission to take the money No Purity responded, you will have to apologize to your daddy for taking his money without his permission though she misplaced the money at the end. I wasn’t with them that week so I wrote the father that Purity has something to say to him and when he called her, she remembered and reported herself. Purity is just 5 years and responding like this, imagine the great leader she will be tomorrow because she’s getting help from the best. The people we leave and surround our children with matters a lot and will contribute to their growth positively or negatively. I am good at preparing meals, homework help, organizing exciting activities, Sports, putting them to bed and waking them up and many more. I always do my best to help them learn to say I’m sorry, thank you and many orders since they are still tender and can learn easily. Time spent with them is always amazing and fun. And it’s also always a challenge to me to be a better person since I’m also acting as their role model, not only their parents.I love caring for children and contributing to their growth in all aspects.I need these experiences abroad to continue to shape my life, build my confidence, grow in my child giving abilities and help me be better and this has to be evident when I return back to my country.Being an aupair abroad will be a dream fulfillment to me that will give me great joy and fulfillment as a children’s advocate.
