Dear host family, I'm a Spanish girl who is studying Pre-Primary education at the University.

I'm looking for a family for about two months, or less if necessary. It would be from the end of June to the end of August, which is when I have summer vacation.

I prefer English to be spoken in the home and for the children to be between 3 and 6 years old, which is the age I'm studying for. However, I think I could also take good care of them from 1 to 9 years old and adapt some activities to their levels.

I was born in Mallorca, Spain so I speak perfect Spanish (native) and Catalan (B2). I'm taking an online English course at level B2. I haven't taken any official exams, but I think I'm pretty good at understanding and listening to English (about B2). However, my speaking level is a bit lower because I haven't practiced speaking much (I'd say about B1). I'm also studying Duolingo in German to learn some basic concepts. My goal is to take an intensive German course at an academy in two years, once I finish my degree. That course specifically prepares you to become a teacher in Germany.

I want to be an Au Pair because I believe it's a unique opportunity to meet new people and their culture. I also believe that living in another country is a very enriching experience because it makes you aware of other ways of living and educating. I also believe this experience can help me put aside my shyness and dare to try new things. If you don't make a change in your life, it will stay the same. You can't expect your life to get better if you don't do anything to improve it. That's why I hope this experience will help me develop as a person and, obviously, acquire new skills that will help me in my future career.
