Dear Host Family,
 
My name is Rosa Marie, I’m 18 years old and I live in a quiet, small town in Germany. I live together with my parents, my older brother, and our family dog, who brings a lot of joy into our daily life. Growing up in a warm and supportive family has taught me to be caring, patient, and responsible - qualities I’m excited to bring with me as an au pair.I will finish high school (Abitur) in July 2025, and I’m very excited to begin this new chapter abroad.
 
Spending time with children has always been something I love. I’ve gained a lot of experience through babysitting, and I currently lead a theater group for kids, where we act out fun scenes, play drama games, and get creative together. Since theater is also one of my own hobbies, I really enjoy helping children express themselves and build confidence through play and performance.
 
Another big passion of mine is arts and crafts - I love painting, designing, and creating all kinds of DIY projects. I also enjoy helping children with their homework, especially in math, which is one of my best subjects. I like explaining things in a calm and simple way to help kids feel confident and proud of their progress. In my free time, I enjoy dancing, horseback riding, playing golf, reading, and of course, theater. I also love spending time with my friends, whether we’re chatting, cooking together, or just relaxing and enjoying each other’s company. These hobbies help me stay active, creative, and balanced - and I’d love to share them with your children through fun activities and quality time together.
 
People describe me as friendly, warm-hearted, responsible, and imaginative. As an au pair, I look forward to becoming a trusted and supportive part of your family - like a big sister your children can rely on, laugh with, and learn from. I’m also very excited to explore American culture, traditions, and everyday life, while sharing my own background and experiences with you.
