1. Who am I
My name is Mimi, and I’m from Thailand. Thai is my first language, but I’ve been improving my English daily through Duolingo, watching movies with subtitles, and listening to English music. I love learning about new cultures and meeting people from different backgrounds. I consider myself kind, responsible, and patient—qualities I believe are important when caring for children.

2.Why I Want to Become an Au Pair
I want to become an Au Pair because I love working with children and hope to gain new experiences while immersing myself in a different culture. This role is not just about helping families but also about personal growth, learning, and making meaningful connections.

3.Why You Should Host Me
As someone who has worked at a nursery from May to September 2024 and studied in a nursing assistant program, I have experience caring for children in a structured and safe environment. I’m also creative—I enjoy coloring, journaling, and listening to music, which I believe children would find engaging and fun. I’m excited to bring positive energy into your family and support your needs wholeheartedly.

4.Why I Qualify for the Position
My background in childcare and my passion for learning new things make me an excellent candidate for an Au Pair position. 儿童照看经验

When I was 12, I had the experience of raising my cousins, a 7-year-old boy and a 9-year-old girl, because my aunt had to go to work. Every summer, I was responsible for taking care of them, which taught me valuable skills in childcare, patience, and responsibility.

Additionally, I worked as a babysitter at a nursery, where I cared for children between the ages of 1 and 5 years old from Monday to Friday. This role allowed me to further develop my ability to care for children, create a safe environment, and engage them in activities that supported their growth.

I am now looking for a new experience and an opportunity to step out of my comfort zone. Becoming an Au Pair will allow me to embark on a new adventure, grow as a person, and gain a deeper understanding of different cultures while continuing to work with children. I believe this experience will help me find myself and build new skills for the future.
