My name is Maximilian, and I am a Canadian currently traveling across Europe. Over the past several months, I've been immersed in hands-on roles that have deeply connected me to people, food, and nature. I've worked on a dairy farm producing milk, cheese, and yogurt; supported a beer garden in Germany with food prep and service; and helped with gardening and daily operations. These experiences have not only taught me resilience and adaptability, but also sparked a growing interest in caregiving and community-oriented work.

I am applying to become an Au Pair and Caregiver for the elderly because I believe in the value of intergenerational connection and supporting those who once supported us. I find fulfillment in being present, helpful, and respectful in all my interactions. Caregiving requires empathy, attention, and patience, qualities I’ve naturally cultivated through my work, travels, and time living in close-knit environments.
