Thank you for reading my letter in your busy schedule. My Chinese name is Wei and my English name is Vivian, I am a very easy-going and cheerful girl from a family of five.
I graduated from Weifang Medical Univerty in June, 2023, majoring in Applied Psychology. During my college years, I paid special attention to the cultivation of personal qualities and the improvement of personal comprehenve ability. I have excellent grades and have won school scholarships for many times.
In order to better improve my ability to use English language comprehenvely and to experience the authentic English culture and life, I apply for joining the European and American exchange student program. I would like to be a member of your family, taking care of your children, picking them up and dropping them off at school, sharing the appropriate household chores, and I can teach your children the Chinese language and communicate with you about traditional Chinese culture. I have a good temperament and love to spend time with children. II have a nephew who is 6 months old, and I help to care for him a few nights every week, changing his diapers, feeding him, putting him to bed, and playing with him. He enjoys my company and is delighted to share his pleasures and sorrows with me, and I have a lot of fun playing with him. I adore children's innocence and am happy to see his development, from learning to stand to saying his first words.During the first half of last year, I went to work part-time as a tutor at a daycare organization,tutoring youngsters . They probably liked studying with me because I was more casual and less serious. Although they were occaonally noisy and didn't listen to my directions, kids adored me and would give me tons of small snacks and discuss their school experiences with me. I also learnt to be more patient, understanding, and compasonate as a result of this experience. I rented an apartment outde the school during my undergraduate years, and I chance to notice her mother looking for a piano tutor in a community group. I practiced with her every Friday for the next x months, and she loved it.After practice, we played with toys together, which was a lot of fun. So, after graduation this year, I went to a children's training center as a chaperone to asst children overcome some of their problems, such as inattention, tactile sentivity, body sensory abnormalities, and so on, and I also gained a lot of skills to deal with children. For example, I learned to praise children more and criticize them less; to respect children and treat them as equals; to listen to children's voices, to take the time to learn to truly understand the children's words and actions; to patiently observe the children, to understand the children's interests, and to mingle with the children.
I believe that my honesty, maturity, independence, sense of responbility, gentle temperament and experience in caring for and interacting with children are what you are looking for in an ideal family member. I would like to make friends from all over the world with a ncere heart, and I ncerely look forward to meeting you. I believe that we will get along very well, and I also believe that this extraordinary experience as an exchange student will be one of the most beautiful things on my life canvas.
