I hope you are safe and healthy.
My name is Génesis, but you can call me Gene. I was born in Esmeraldas City, and I am currently living in Santo Domingo de los Tsáchilas, Ecuador. I live with my parents, Edwin, who is 50 years old and works as a wood merchant, and Elizabeth, who is 42 and works as a chef. My 22-year-old sister, Vanessa, who recently signed up to be a traffic officer, Wendy, who is 19 years old and is a food processing student and my little dog, Zeus.
My family is very excited about my decision to become an au pair and very proud of my courage to leave my comfort zone and have new experiences in the United States of America.
I am studying to become an English teacher, and I’m also currently working in a kindergarten, so I am surrounded by kids from Monday through Friday.
I consider myself as a respectful, easygoing, honest, emphatic, organized and patient person. I would also like to develop my skills as an open minded person in the US while getting to know a whole new world.
I would like to live in the United States of America because it is a great opportunity to develop my skills as a future English teacher. I really think that will be my contribution to society. I want to make beautiful memories while I take care of your children. I am excited to meet new places, people, and cultures.

I have a lot of experience taking care of children of all ages.
I was a babysitter for two years. I lived with a single mother and her daughter, Fabiana Cruz; I worked with them from Monday to Friday, and I would spend the weekends with my family.
I started taking care of her when she was 7 years old. I did a lot of activities with her, like: go to the park, go to the cinema, help with homework, do some hand crafts, make snacks, make lunch, make dinner, do the laundry, make breakfast, practice soccer, and sometimes I invited her to go on a trip with my family. She is very intelligent and sometimes I still visit her to go for a walk and she says that she still remembers the places we used to go. She says she wants to be a doctor when she grows up, and I am confident she will become one because she is a very intelligent and determined girl.
Also, I have experience in a kindergarten that provides care, attention, and daily care for girls and boys aged 1 to 3 years who live in poverty, extreme poverty, and vulnerability. This care is provided through play and learning activities organized into a daily schedule with four meals, hygiene practice, rest, and nutritional status monitoring. I am in charge of the group of nine youngest children between 1 and 1 and a half years old. They are very sweet; they give me the sweetest hugs; they always try to communicate with body language and a few words about what they are doing, and I am always there to know how they feel.
I have a registered and active profile with Agent Aupair and would like to offer additional information about my life. I have a lot more material, including certificates, references, and video presentations, among other things.
