Greetings from Taiwan,

My name is Cheng Ye, and my friends also call me Yael! I'm in my second year of university majoring in design.

I come from Tainan, where I grew up with my loving family - an engineer dad, a librarian mom, my grandpa, and my younger sister who is majoring in anthropology and also lives with me in Taipei. We enjoy watching Netflix together in our free time.

In my free time, I enjoy playing board games with my friends. It's a great way to unwind and have fun with the people I care about. On Saturdays, you'll find me attending a wood-making class where I hone my skills in crafting wooden furniture. It's not only a hobby but also practice working with my hands as a real designer.

I love to indulge in my passion for music. I often play the piano or recorder, and I can't resist a good novel either.

I also love to travel because it gives me so much inspiration for my creative work. I even cycled around Taiwan for twelve days before the pandemic hit. My next adventure may involve traveling around on foot... :D


*I will have a 15 days' architecture workcamp in Cambodia in Jun-July. And stay in Nepal for one month in the last Aug. I apologize for any delayed replies.
