Thankyou for considering us as family to host you during your visit to Australia. I am Janelle, and together with my husband Dan we have three beautiful children, Tyler (2yo) and twins Emily and Dylan who will be 1 in August 2024. We also have Arlo, our very friendly 2yo golden retriever.

As a family, we consider ourselves active and get outdoors whenever possible. We have a caravan and loving going on impromptu trips sometimes to the beach, maintains or out bush! We look forward to showing you a bit of our country if you wish to travel with us on weekends. We really enjoy our country music, being social, getting into the gym and enjoying a night out. Tyler loves riding his bike, playing in the park, drawing and building towers with his blocks. Emily and Dylan are also getting to a really fun and engaging age too where they are becoming on the move and exploring everything.

We are hoping that by welcoming you into our home, evenings will be a little easier with help bathing and feeding the kids, and they have an enjoyable two days with you instead of being at day care. Structure and routine are important to us, particularly with the children, and we enjoy living in a house that is tidy, clean and a comfortable environment to be in. In saying that, we balance that by being very relaxed and easy going parents and people!

I am returning to work full time with the Royal Australian Navy locally here in Canberra after maternity leave, Dan will still be around some days as he works a four on four off rotational roster as a Helicopter Rescue Aircrewman. We are engaging an Au Pair to help with the transition of two parents in full time work to ensure the kids have as little disruption as possible.
