We are looking for a loving Au pair. We are really open to a granny au pair, as my mother passed away and my husbands family is not involved, so we would love a grandmother figure to help and love Lily, we would love someone that loves to engage with Lily and sees this as their second home not just a job. Someone who would like to go out with Lily to the park, library, museum or anything else you'd like to try while here, Someone who is open to sharing their culture with us and with Lily. We are big into books so someone who likes to read and will read and teach Lily her colors, letters and animals. We don't expect our au pair to be a house keeper, but just simple stuff like washing yours and Lilys dishes throughout the day, or helping her pick up her toys, and helping with her laundry as needed and cooking for you and her throughout the day, just keeping things generally tidy as you use stuff throughout the day. You would be fully responsible for Lily while we are work, so feeding her, (we'll have simple meals for her ready or you are welcome to make her something from your culture), changing diapers, (we will be starting potty training soon), putting her down for a nap, and just overall engaging with her throughout the day to avoid tv time, or too much tv time.
