Dear family,
I’m very grateful that you come to visit my profile.

I will introduce myself. My name is Esmeralda; I’m 26 years old, and I’m from Mexico. I’m currently living with my parents; we are a family of six members. I have an older sister and two younger siblings; the smallest is a 12-year old teenager. As you can imagine, ever since my youngest siblings were born, I have been helping my mom take care of them while she is at work.

I’m very close to my family, and I like taking care of children and even teenagers. I have worked at kid’s summer camps here in Mexico. I would spend time creating fun ways to teach and entertain children during their days in camp. During our mornings, we would do morning circles where we’d sing Spanish nursery rhymes. Our afternoons were filled with knowledge as I would introduce them to any topic related to the environment we were in (such as forest animals, plants, etc.). Our nights would be spent by the campfire, and I would tell Mexican folk stories. I consider that a child has a more wonderful way of seeing life, time, and our surroundings; you can take advantage of everything from a small flower to a crayon. My wish is that every child I look after continues to discover environments in the most fun and enriching way.

Children have taught me patience, dedication, imagination, and enthusiasm. I can adapt to any environment very easily; I like learning new things, and I don’t fear being authentic. Making my family and friends laugh is my favorite thing to do; I think that comes naturally as a part of my personality.
