Hei, my name is Chiara and I currently live in Stuttgart, Germany. I am 26 years old and just finished my bachelors in psychology. That's why I have a couple of months to do something that I enjoy.

I am a big family person so I love coming back home to my parents, my sister, to our cat and our dog. I also have 4 little cousins (the oldest is 6 now) who I love to visit. Family is very important to me.

In 2020 I lived in Oslo for 4 months and I fell in love with the city and the country. That's why I would love to come back to Scandinavia and live there for a while. To stay with a family and take care of the kids would not feel like work but rather like something I do because it makes me feel good. I've been babysitting since I was 15 and I always did it with a lot of passion. In my opinion there is no better way than to spend my free time between my bachelors and masters as an au pair somewhere in Scandinavia. I also speak a little norwegian and swedish (I am better at understanding the language than speaking it) and it would be a big plus if I could improve my language skills as an Au Pair.

儿童照看经验

I have worked as a babysitter during high school for 6 years. The two boys were 1 and 3 years old when I started. I also took care of a ten year old girl in 2023 for 3 months through a program that helps children from economically disadvantaged families to experience things they usually can't (like going to the theater, movies, indoor playgrounds, baking cookies etc.). Since this month (March 24) I am also babysitting two children in my town. I pick them up from daycare twice a week and we spent time together until their parents come home from work. They are 2,5 and 4,5 years old.

But I have also already been a camp counselor during school and am now one of the leading counselors for a different camp during the summer holidays for kids between the ages 12 and 17. The 64 children stay with us 15 counselors for 1 week on a castle and we always have the absolute best time! I also often take care of my little cousins (ages 4 months till 5 years) which I enjoy a lot.

Over the years I have developed a genuine passion for working with children. Becoming an au pair allows me to continue doing what I love in a structured and immersive environment. Being an Au Pair abroad will combine my Passion for Childcare with experiencing new cultures and improving my foreign language skills.
