Malena (23), argentino/a, Desempleado/a actualmente en Argentina quiere ser Au Pair en Francia, Italia & Reino Unido

Hello. My name is Malena, even though my friends call me Gala (for reasons that I don’t quite understand). I’m 23 years old and I’m obsessed with the European culture. I consider myself an easygoing person as well as funny and talkative. I love to met new people and new cultures and I’m excited to practice new languages. I have studied english translation for 3 years in college (actually I repeated the same first year 3 times) but ended up becoming a dropout, which may not sound tentative to put on a motivation letter, but take it as my specialty to be honest. The reason that I dropped is because I quickly realized that I’m much more a experience person than a technical student, I love languages and I keep practicing the grammar in my own but in my own time and without the pressure, I read in english daily (I’m a literature lover), I communicate with people who speak the language too as I have many friends online and I consume all kind of media in said language (Movies, music, youtube or internet stuff in general), so even though I have dropped college, I still think I can maintain a fluent conversation with no problem, but if you want to know about my studies, I still have some on course. I’m currently working on a fashion course, as well as I appointed for a career in fashion design, I’m a creative person (which had been a struggle in career choose over the years) and I love fashion a lot.
I’m looking forward to travel and to met places that I have never seen before, I dream to live in Italy or to a least visit there, France is very appealing to me and I would love to spend many time as I can in UK too to perfect my english. My country is passing through a hard time lately, I’m not going to get too political in here but our president is not my favorite so far and everything seems to be getting expensive as the time passes. Although, this is something that has been going on for years, and for much that I LOVE my country and my nationality, I have always dreamed to live for a while somewhere else.
Something else about me is that I have experience with children, even though I’m an only child, I have many cousins that I have taken care of before. My favorite thing about it is teaching them new stuff and to learn new skills, as I think is so important for children in formative ages to be open minded and educated. That may sound kind of boring for a little kid to read though, so I will allow myself to clarify that I am willing to have some fun with them though, as I know that kids get bored easily, I’m willing to be a play partner (something that I, an only child myself, used to crave in my childhood years).
I know how to cook basic meals and I’m always willing to learn new ones. I wouldn’t have a problem taking a kid to school and I would love to be a part of their growing process, always willing to leave on them a good memory.
I think is important to clarify though that I have no experience with babies, as I have said before, I’m an honest person and I rather every one who is interested knowing best about me beforehand. In any case, I would not have problem learning everything that is needed to be learnt about babies, but I thought it would have been best to clarify.
