Hello,
My name is Jade. I love listening to music, as well as playing it on many different instruments, and singing in choir. I enjoy learning new languages and bettering my proficiency in them. I started studying German in school when I was 7 years old and have spent the last 11 years improving my skills and continuing to learn new things. I am taking my B1 German exam in March. I have also learned a small amount of French and Mandarin along with my native language which is English. I love to craft and create art using any medium but my favourite activity to do is to crochet. I also enjoy baking, especially when I get to eat whatever creation I make as I've been told I have a sweet tooth. I enjoy swimming and playing basketball, for fun, whenever I can. When I don't feel like being as active, I love to watch TV shows or read and sometimes write in order to create worlds of my own.
I come from a very small family, I grew up with a single mother and no siblings but that made me very independent and creative. I was able to take care of myself from a very young age and started babysitting at the age of 12. I have consistently looked after many children over the years, and I very much enjoy it. I am extremely responsible and committed to whatever I am doing.
I want to become an Au Pair because I love new experiences. I have spent the last 5 years determined to find a way to accomplish my biggest dream which is to live in Germany. I was presented with the idea of being an Au Pair and thought it was an amazing first step towards by goal. I also want to be an Au Pair to get to spend time with children. I love children of all ages although I have more experience with ones between 4-10 years old. I enjoy helping out and feeling useful by being able to complete chores or tasks for families. When I have free time, I love to explore new places. I thrive in environments with lots to do and see but am also very good at entertaining myself. I love spending time with my friends and study information about what I am currently interested in, which is currently frogs and linguistics. I am always ready for new situations as I unfailingly research in order to prepare myself for anything. After my stay I want to apply for university in order to extend my time and hopefully eventually become a German citizen. I am excited for this opportunity and to meet you.
