Hi Family!
My name is Mikalah, I’m 21 years old from a small town in Canada. I’ve lived here since I was born but my biggest dream in life is to travel the world, I’m so excited to start this new adventure as an Au Pair and I’m hoping to be the perfect fit for you!
I’m only fluent in English, aside from that I took French and Spanish courses in grade school, and I’ve been learning Italian on Duolingo.
I’m friendly and outgoing, I love to meet new people and experience new things. Obviously I love working with and caring for kids, teaching them and doing fun activities. I’m easy-going but extremely reliable and organized so I can handle many responsibilities and I’m very hardworking. I moved out young and have been supporting myself for almost 5 years through finishing highschool.
I’ve had a few childcare jobs but was primarily working as a housekeeper for hotels and companies before I started working in retail as a sales associate a couple years ago, I’ve since been both store assistant manager and manager of my own departments while still working multiple jobs. I am happy with my job and living right now but I’m so ready for another change.
I moved in with my mom and younger brother about a year ago after travelling around Italy for almost 3 months and just haven't been able to stop thinking since about my next journey, hopefully that can be with you’re family!
