Carta a la familia
Ludamuch
Dear host family
My name is Sean. I am 23 years old and I'm from Zimbabwe. I am a joyful, able bodied and organised young man who is very responsible, creative and fun loving. I grew up in a family of 5 and I have 2 older siblings. My sister is the eldest followed by my brother. We grew up in the third big city of Zimbabwe which is Mutare. We lived in an urban community whereby we do things together and help each other . The society believes that it takes the community to raise a child, hence we would always be loved, corrected and learn from the community. In my family, we did most of the things together and I learnt a lot from them since I was the youngest. I learnt responsibility, cleaning, cooking, working
hard and being honest. My parents always emphasised on accountability. I grew up in a Christian family and we would attend church services together and I would volunteer a lot at church and I was a Sunday school teacher. Teaching kids at church made me fall in love with children and I realised that it was my passion. During high school I severed a junior Councillor and it came with a lot of responsibility. After high school I started working as a childcare provider at Divine Daycare centre. I worked there for a year and i worked with kids from the age of 18 months to 3 years. We could spend our time with kids up to late afternoon. When the kids came, we could receive them, do the morning routine, take turns to cook breakfast, feed them, play games and do creative activities like playing with blocks, drawing, painting, writing of their names,
sing and dance, doing the alphabet and many more. When the day ends I would drop off a few kids to their homesteads. After working at divine day care, I worked for 3 different kids with different ages, the oldest being 15. I was responsible for cooking, feeding them, tidying their rooms and kitchen, drive them to school, collecting from school, helping with homework, doing creative activities, shopping and taking some to bed. I would love to become your next Au Pair because I love children and enjoy spending time with them. I am prepared and I am well aware of the fact that being like a big brother for your children comes along with responsibilities for them and it will not always be just play and fun. I would love to be an Au Pair because I love learning new cultures, language and new environment. I would love to gain more
experience in a new family with a different culture. I am a really good cook and would like to cook for you. I am smart, organised and I take particular attention of every detail. I am a very good listener and apply everything I'm told. I am a jovial person and I respect every boundary and appreciate being corrected. I would love to obtain a childcare course and gain more experience. After my Au Pair, I would either continue travelling but would also love to put my language skill to use and enrol into a childcare development school. I would really love to be your next Au pair.
