My main motivation for being an Au Pair is that it gives me the opportunity to work with children and gain more experience in childcare, experience that will become invaluable once I am a teacher. My previous experiences have brought me so much joy and I'm eager to continue.
Another motivation is the opportunity to live and work abroad, something that is very important for me.
The best thing about my years in France and Germany has been being able to explore somewhere new and really immerse myself in the culture, whether it be new foods or new traditions to learn about. I love learning and exploring. I have always been interested in other people's cultures and learning about a country's history.
I really look forward to the opportunity to learn more and meet a family willing to share this with me.
2 years ago I worked for a year as an Au Pair in France, where I looked after 2 little boys aged 6 and 3.
Last year I moved to Germany, to Au Pair again and looked after 2 little girls this time, one 3 years old and the other only 9 months.
My previous experience as an Au Pair means I am comfortable and confident in the role. I understand how demanding it can be, but also how rewarding.
On top of all this experience I have also helped my Mum raise my 3 younger siblings, as well as babysitting for family and friends throughout the years.
In conclusion, I feel confident in working with children of all ages and all walks of life.
