I hope this letter finds you well. My name is Margaux, and I am an 18-year-old from the French-speaking part of Switzerland. I am currently finishing high school and have decided to take a gap year to travel, immerse myself in new cultures, and broaden my perspective on the world. Becoming an Au Pair and Live-in Tutor is the perfect way for me to combine my love for children, my passion for learning, and my desire to experience life in a new environment.

I believe that choosing to host me would be a wonderful experience for your family. I am an easygoing, positive, and responsible person who adapts quickly to new situations. I have a natural curiosity and enjoy deep conversations, but I also value personal time and independence.

My experience with children has been both personal and professional. I have spent many hours babysitting, tutoring a teenager for the past four years, and taking care of my younger sister. I truly enjoy engaging with kids, whether it’s through creative activities, helping with schoolwork, or simply spending quality time with them. I always have been a top student, my favorite subjects are biology, maths, and geography. If your child is interested in music, I would also be happy to give piano lessons, as I have been learning it since I was seven.

Fluent in both French and English, with a good foundation in German, I can communicate effectively in multilingual settings and even help your children with language learning if needed. I have been studying in the UK last year, which has given me an international mindset and the ability to adapt to different cultural environments.
